About

The City and its Tower

The City and its Tower is the story of people getting by in substandard conditions, told in the form of a graphic novel freely available on the internet. The city is split in half by an enormous cliff, with residents living both at the top (Uptown) and the base (Downtown). The story follows events in both parts of the city. If you are new to the comic there is no good midpoint to start from, and you should start from the beginning of volume one, else you might find yourself lost.

We will update one page twice a week, so if you check the site on Wednesdays and Saturdays you will see new content.

P. D. German

P. D. German is a writer living in a house in Lexington, SC that his wife is kind enough to pay for. He spent slightly longer than average earning a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of South Carolina in Columbia where he learned a lot about people who are dead and developed an incredibly pretentious middle initial. The City and its Tower is his first published work, though he has written many short stories that very few people have read.

Geoffrey Buell

Geoffrey Buell is a caffeine junkie and freelance illustrator living in Charlotte, NC. Not too long ago, he graduated from Winthrop University with a BFA in staying up late and drawing things. When he is not working, he enjoys fooling himself in thinking he can run/bike/swim tiresome distances that inevitably lead to nowhere.
